More than 50 delegates gathered in Nailsea for the second Growing Faith Foundation Big Lunch. The day took place at Holy Trinity Church and welcomed clergy, diocesan advisers, school leaders and youth and children’s ministers from across Bath and Wells and the wider southwest, along with representatives of other church organisations.
The £312,850 grant fund pot has been created from a number of sources, including the national church’s Buildings for Mission project and the Net Zero Carbon Quick Wins grant scheme.
School across Bath and Wells, have been celebrating the Harvest season with services and the giving of gifts to local charities and organisations.
The Hub, established in partnership with Movement, is designed to support young leaders by offering a collaborative space to learn.
Children from each class played a central part in the service, taking part in a performance, poetry reading, singing, and prayer.
17 pupils visit the Abbey to learn more about ‘Stardust’, a space-themed music concert organised by the Bath-based charity Voices for Life.

The new FLOURISH network will establish partnerships between schools or Further Education colleges and their local churches, aiming to engage a large number of children, young people, and their families.
