Churches across the Diocese of Bath and Wells spent around £1 million on energy last year - a striking reminder of why understanding and managing energy use is so important.
Bishop Fiona was invited to Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School, Taunton to commission the new Spirituality Trail, created in the school grounds, which invites pupils and staff to pause, listen and connect more deeply with God and with one another.

Jo Stobart is to be the next Archdeacon of Wells and Residentiary Canon of Wells Cathedral. She will succeed Anne Gell who stepped down earlier this month after nine years in the role. Jo will be returning to Bath and Wells in the late autumn.

Local group in Bath provide support to their community, by helping people manage their outdoor spaces.
Over 220 students at Gordano school, recently visited the school library to experience HeartSpace and the 14 reflection stations specially created there.

People from across Wells Archdeaconry, our diocese and our cathedral community gathered at Wells Cathedral on Sunday afternoon (10 May) to give thanks for the ministry of Anne Gell, and to say farewell.
It has been announced that the Revd Dr Ian Mills is to be the next Rector of Bath Abbey. Ian is currently the Rector of Benefice of Chew Valley West and Area Dean of Chew Magna in the Diocese of Bath and Wells.
The clock at St Edward’s Church, Goathurst, has been a central feature of village life since it was presented to the church in 1734. Its restoration and return were celebrated with a special gathering at the church.
During the coming months, the Venerable Jonathan LLoyd will be the Acting Archdeacon of Wells, following the departure of Archdeacon Anne in May.
All are invited to say farewell to Archdeacon Anne at Wells Cathedral Evensong at 15:00 on Sunday, 10 May.
