Celebrating Safeguarding Sunday

This November many churches across Bath and Wells celebrated Safeguarding Sunday, these services can also be held throughout the year. 'Reflections on Safeguarding', a collection of poems about safeguarding written by people from across our diocese is available to download and share.

Clergy and lay leaders Pre-Advent Retreat Day

11th November 2025

Clergy and lay leaders from across our diocese have been invited to attend this year’s Pre-Advent Retreat Day at Wells Cathedral on Tuesday, 25 November. The speaker for this year’s event will be Cardinal Timothy Radcliffe OP, Dominican Priest and former Master of the Order, theologian, and renowned author and preacher.
