The latest annual review, telling the story of Bath and Wells in 2025 is available to view online on our HeyZine site or to download below.
There were many challenges to be faced as we entered 2025. As citizens of the world we were concerned with global conflict and climate change. Across our country we saw fractures emerge in our society, which also faced increased costs of living. In our Church, we have been challenged on safeguarding matters, been debating the Prayers of Love and Faith, and church finances. While it may be difficult to address those challenges directly, it has been inspiring to see how we, as Bath and Wells, have risen up to respond to these challenges locally. As I look back on the year, I see that my hope was not misplaced.
Bishop Michael
Introduced by Bishop Michael, and featuring a joyous picture from Coker Ridge Benefice, our annual review shares a host of inspiring examples of people from around our diocese living and telling the story of Jesus throughout last year. It also highlights some of the work of Support Services, shines a spotlight on Safeguarding following last year's audit and also some of support for parishes with money matters.
